| Koalas Stumble Against AUM |
The Fighting Koalas lost their first game back from the break 51-64 to Auburn University Montgomery on Saturday afternoon.
Columbia College fell behind early 10-0, but overcame the slow shooting to trail 20-26 at the half. The Koalas improved to put up 31 points in the second half, but the Lady Senators of AUM hit their stride and shot an impressive 63 % to finish the game out 64-51.
Lesley Gadson led the way again for the Koalas with 21 points and 6 steals. Kiara Fefie chipped in 7 points and Denitra Parker added 6 rebounds. Columbia College next plays at Shorter College Jan. 10 at 6:30.
