| Basketball Opens the Season with a Victory |
The Fighting Koalas basketball team jumped out of the gates Tuesday with a road victory over Allen University.
The Koalas played a solid first half to gain a 27-19 advantage and then continued their success to break the second half open, winning 68-40. Freshman Lesley Gadson led the way for the Koalas, scoring a team high 15 points and making 9 of 12 from the free throw line. Columbia College was aggressive all night on the offensive end grabbing 23 offensive rebounds.
The Koalas are back in action for their second of four games this week, visiting Voorhees College Wednesday at 6PM.
