| Koalas Fall Short on Senior Night |
Three seniors took the court for the last time Saturday afternoon with a strong effort, but the Koalas fell short of the visiting Berry College 50-61.
Sarah Scoggins, Denitra Parker, and Jocelyn Bronson were all honored Saturday before their last home game at Columbia College. Bronson was sidelined due to injury, but all seniors were energized and emotional for the contest. Parker led the Koalas with a team high 11 rebounds, and freshman Cassandra German led the Koalas with 11 points.
The Koalas fought hard to end and trailed by 6 points with less than 2 minutes remaining; however, solid free throw shooting secured the victory for the visiting Vikings. |
