| Koalas Swing Past Spartanburg |
The Fighting Koalas took to the road Tuesday to beat Spartanburg Methodist.
New faces continued to move the Koalas into the win column as the Koalas beat Spartanburg Methodist 6-3. Sophomore Stewart Harrelson won in her first number one match up in exciting fashion, taking the final set 7-6 (11-9) in the tie break. Junior Megan Brown won her singles match 6-1, 6-1, as did freshman Ashley Chapman 6-1, 7-5, and junior Cordy Francis 6-1, 6-4
On the season Ashley Chapman and Chelsea Lee are undefeated for a combined record of 7-0. The Koalas next visit conference foe Emmanuel College, March 28th at 3:30. |
