| Tennis Defeats Salem College |
The Fighting Koalas defeated Salem College 9-0 at home this afternoon. In doubles matches, Christine Bush and Sarah Hall won 8-2; Windy Yeager and Megan Brown won 8-6; Jennifer Troutman and Winn Dadds won at number three doubles by forfeit.
In singles, Jennifer Troutman defeated Jessica Nelson at number one 6-1, 6-1; Elizabeth Barrett defeated Ilia Owens at number two 6-2, 6-3; Christine Bush defeated Alisa Hewett at number three 6-3,6-2; Windy Yeager defeated Landry Kloesel at number four 6-1, 6-0; Sarah Hall defeated Marti Ridley at number five 6-0, 6-1; Megan Brown won by forfeit at number 6.
The Fighting Koalas tennis team will return to action this spring, when they take on the Reinhardt College Lady Eagles on Friday, February 17, at 3:00 pm at Columbia College. |
