| Koalas Victorious at Home |
The Fighting Koalas tennis team was victorious in their only home match of the fall season as they defeated Spartanburg Methodist 6-3.
Columbia College won 2 of the 3 doubles matches and 4 of the 6 singles matches. Elizabeth Barrett had a strong showing winning at #1 Doubles with Sarah Hall, and #1 Singles. Megan Brown and Haley-Marie Archer showed a solid effort, but fell at #2 doubles 6-8. The Koalas turned it on in the singles contests with wins from Barrett, Stewart Harrelson, Ashley Chapman, and Megan Brown. Harrelson finished the fall season undefeated for the Koalas. Windy Yeager and Sarah Hall also had a good showing in singles but came up just short of the win. The Koalas now turn their attention to fall conditioning and workouts to get ready for the Spring Season that Starts January 16, 2008.
