| Tennis Loses Close to Converse |
The Columbia College tennis team dropped a close decision 5-4 to Converse College Saturday, Oct. 6. Despite the team loss, freshmen Haley Marie Archer and Ashley Chapin earned their first college victories. Also, sophomore Stewart Harrelson had a strong day winning both her singles and doubles matches.
The fighting Koalas have one more match this fall before the spring season begins. The Koalas play host to Spartanburg Methodist Oct. 25 at 3:00.
