| Koalas Sweep Home Opener |
The lady Koalas volleyball team opened at home Thursday night with a strong showing for their first win of the season. The Koalas swept visiting Claflin University three straight games 30-16, 30-16, 30-18.
Chelsea Brant, Lauren Bach, and Courtney Green all posted nine kills in the match with Brant and Bach hitting an impressive .533 and .529 respectively.
Coach Brian Solomon said, “The entire team gave an outstanding effort and we played very good volleyball.”
