| Senior Night Equals Senior Success |
Three Seniors took the floor for the final time Tuesday night as they paced the Koalas to a 3-1 victory over visiting Southern Wesleyan University.
The night was a mix of good emotions and good all around play as Sara McCants, Sarah Scoggins, and Ashley Watson led Columbia College to a victory in their final home match. The Koalas came out firing in the first game to take a decisive victory, but had to battle their way through the rest of the match winning the contest in four games, 30-15, 29-31, 30-24, 31-29. Junior Lauren Bach led the Koalas with a match high 25 kills. The win avenged a previous five game loss at Southern Wesleyan earlier this season.
The Koalas have two more matches to prepare for the first round of the conference tournament being held at Brewton-Parker College, Nov. 8-10.
