| Strickland Named SSAC Setter of the Week |
Junior Brittney Strickland was named conference setter of the week for the second time Monday. Strickland led Columbia to a 2-0 showing with wins over Southern Wesleyan University and Paine College. She averaged an impressive 12.7 assists per game during the week, posting a match high 52 assists against Southern Wesleyan University. Strickland’s season high in assists was 54 against North Greeneville University back on Sept. 19.
Strickland hopes to continue to lead the Koalas with strong play as they enter SSAC tournament play Thursday at 3PM against Berry College.
