| Koalas Defeated in Five Game Battle |
The Fighting Koalas came up short Saturday in an exciting five game battle to Faulkner University.
The play between the two teams picked up as the match went on and gave spectators no rest as the final game was decided by only to points. Despite the effort, the Koalas were defeated 30-22, 27-30, 30-19, 24-30, 17-15. Courtney Green had a team high 20 kills in the match and setter Brittany Strickland recorded 38 assists. The loss drops the Koalas to 11-15 and secures a third place finish for Faulkner.
Columbia College is back in action this Tuesday as they take on conference foe Southern Wesleyan University for Senior Night.
