Godbold Physical Education Center
The Godbold Center was constructed in 1971 and named for Lucille (Ludy) Godbold, a favorite physical education teacher. Miss Ludy was an Olympic medalist in several track and field events. The Godbold Center houses three departments: athletics, dance and physical education and health promotion. Additionally, you will find Porter Gymnasium, Greer Natatorium, the Fitness Center, and the Athletic Training Room.
