Morrison will continue to serve as the Assistant Athletic Director as well as head up the softball program. Previously, Morrison was the Head Tennis Coach at Columbia College for nine years and assistant and interim basketball coach.

Morrison attended the Baptist College at Charleston (now Charleston Southern University), where he competed in baseball and tennis. He and his wife, Sherry, reside in Columbia, SC, with their son, J.R.
