Softball Signs Four Players

Head softball coach, James Morrison, announced the signing of four players scheduled to join the Fighting Koalas next season.  Allison Bundrick, Erin Edwards, Crystal Hughes, and Brittany Kinard hope to add depth on the field and success in the classroom for Coach Morrison next season.

The signing of these players means the Koalas are adding two pairs of teammates.  Bundrick and Edwards played together at Great Falls High School in Great Falls, SC.  Bundrick, a utility player, said, "I am very excited to go to the next level to play."  Edwards, her teammate, is an infielder who will be looked to in sealing up the middle of the field.

Hughes and Kinard will arrive from Hemingway High School next fall.  Both players will offer Coach Morrison a lot of versatility.  Hughes and Kinard can pitch, play catcher, and short stop.  Coach Morrison said, "I am very excited about adding these young ladies to our program and the student body of Columbia College."
