
The Columbia College Softball team is preparing to enter their first intercollegiate season competing in the Southern States Athletic Conference. The Fighting Koalas will have to prove themselves in a tough conference. Shorter College, Lee University, and Auburn-Motgomery were all ranked in the NAIA preseason top 25, followed by Brenau University who was the SSAC conference champion last season.
Columbia will try to earn a spot in the post season by finishing in one of the top eight spots. Listed below is the 2010 SSAC Softball Preseason Coaches' Poll:
