Softball Signs Pittman
COLUMBIA, S.C.- Head Softball Coach James
Morrison, announced the addition of Lee Pittman to the Fighting
Koalas Softball Program for the 2012 season.
Pittman is from Mullins, S.C. and attended Pee
Dee Academy where she was successful as a student-athlete
throughout her high school career. Pittman competed for Pee Dee's
softball program all four years on the varsity level. Pittman is
predominately a catcher and outfielder who will also contribute off
the field as a well rounded student-athlete in the
classroom.
Coach James Morrison had this to say about the
addition of Pittman, "Lee is a versatile player who can play
different positions to help to team be successful at the collegiate
level. Lee is fast and has a strong arm which will help her be a
successful throughout her four years here at Columbia
College."
The Fighting Koalas Softball Program is also
putting on a pitchers and catchers camp this summer in July. For
