James Morrison is entering his 11th year with Columbia College athletics.  Morrison returns in his second season as the Head Softball Coach for the Fighting Koalas.  Previously, Morrison was the head tennis coach for nine seasons and assistant athletic director.

Morrison graduated from The Baptist College at Charleston (Charleston Southern '86) where he competed in baseball and tennis.  He graduated with a double major in computer information systems and marketing and a minor in economics.  Prior to his stay at Columbia College, Morrison was the head tennis pro at the Woodlands Country Club in for five years.

In addition to coaching softball, Morrison currently serves as the assistant athletic director for Columbia College.  James, his wife Sherry, and two sons J.R. and Trevor Lee, reside in Columbia.

Dennis enters his first season with the Columbia College Softball program. A graduate from Chicago State University in 1994, Dennis earned his degree in Physical Education. With 21 years of expierence as a High School Varsity Coach- Dennis enjoys coaching and has a great understanding of what it takes to build a competitive program.
