Basketball Defeats Allen

The Columbia College basketball team put together a solid team effort in defeating Allen University 61-52 in the Godbold Center.

No scored in double digits for the Koalas, but Natasha Blackmore, Victoria Gathers, and Kiara Fefie all scored 9 points.  Freshman Ariel Nichols also added a season high 8 points in just 10 minutes on the court.  Fefie helped close out the game shooting 5-of-6 from the free throw line in the last few minutes of the second half.

The win moves the Koalas to 3-14 on the season, and was the second victory over nearby Allen University.
