Basketball Picks Up Another AAC Win

COLUMBIA,S.C. - The Fighting Koalas basketball team picked up another AAC conference win today against Bryan College Lions, winning 66-59.

Columbia College basketball put on another impressive defensive performance forcing the Bryan to have 33 turnovers. The Fighting Koalas picked up 20 offensive boards putting them in position to take their first lead of the game in the second half.

Sophomore, Kirby Norris continues to lead the Columbia offense putting up 16 points and 7 rebounds. Junior, Nikki Craig led the Fighting Koalas in offensive rebounds with 7 and put up 13 points on the day.

Columbia moves to 2-9 in the AAC and 6-16 overall. The Fighting Koalas will have 2 home games next week as they face Point and Tennessee Wesleyan.
