Fighting Koalas lose to Lady Bulldogs

COLUMBIA, S.C. - The Fighting Koala's basketball team dropped another game at home today against the visiting Lady Bulldogs of Union College (Ky) losing 76-70.

Union College moves to 4-3 in AAC conference play and still has the only national player of the week for division II in the AAC thus far this season in no. 31 Lindsey Walters. Although Walters was held to only 18 total points she remained Union's leading scorer on the game.

Columbia looking strong after their defensive performance on the day making the Lady Bulldogs have their highest turnover game to date with 16. Sophmore, Kirby Norris had a career high 18 points on the day and a total of 7 rebounds to lead the Fighting Koala offense.

Columbia looks ahead as they face the Lady Buffs of Milligan this week on the road in Milligan College, TN.
