From Start to Finish, Strong Outing For Koalas

From the opening tip off, the Koalas were in control of the game. Strong defensive efforts and outstanding scoring lead the Koalas to their first conference win of the season. Although the Brenau Tigers made an effort to come back in the second quarter, they still were not able to overcome the fast paced offense and lockdown defensee that the Koalas displayed.

Leading the scoring for the Koalas were Junior Jenesai Mohammed with 22 pts, which included 5 three pointers and 3 steals. Also scoring was Senior Amber Sherill with 18 pts, 5 assists and 5 steals. Sherill is joined by Sophomore Denijah Johnson who also had 18 pts, 3 assists and 5 rebounds. And to round off the scoring was Junior Morgan Varn with 14 pts, 2 blocks and 5 rebounds. Other contributors were Williams, Kinard, Hawes, Morgan, and Weyer.

The Koalas have another home game Monday, November 12th at 6:30pm against rival Allen University.
