Koalas Unable to Stop Eagles Offense

After a week off for Thanksgiving break, the Koalas looked to come out strong against the Reinhardt Eagles. Miscommunication on defense and a fast start to the game, put the Eagles up early. The ladies trailed the entire game and was never able to overcome the lead that the Eagles acquired early on. The game ended with a final score of 70-56.

Once again Sophomore Denijah Johnson turned in a solid game as she lead the team in scoring and rebounds with 15 points and 7 rebounds. As it was reported yesterday, Johnson is ranked #10 in NAIA Division II Basketball for offensive rebounds.

Johnson was followed by Senior Amber Sherrill and Junior Victoria Williams who both had 9 points, and Junior Jenesaai Mohammed who scored 8. Other contributors were Varn, Morgan, Hawes, Weyer and Ferguson.

The Koalas head on the road to face Truett-McConnell this Saturday, in a must win conference match up.
