Nate Hinton is a Native of Columbia, SC where he attended Columbia HS.  He attended Baptist College at Charleston and graduated with a Computer Science Degree in 1987.  Coach Hinton has been coaching kids in the local area for the past 16 years.  He spent two years as a volunteer assistant coach at Columbia HS, as well as the past seven years with the Frisgate Basketball Association and coaching AAU.  Coach Hinton has been employed by Allstate Insurance Co. for the past 9 years. 

Coach believes that athletics and life are directly correlated, "the harder your work on and off the court the further you will go".  He comes to Columbia College with the one desire to help rebuild the basketball program.
