Alivia Seely Signs with Columbia College Golf
COLUMBIA, S.C. - Alivia Seely joins the Columbia College golf team for the 2012-2013 season out of Excelsior Springs High School, in Excelsior Springs, Missouri. Seely becomes the 6th member of the squad to sign, and the first from the state of Missouri.
Seely has played on the varsity golf team at Excelsior Springs for the past four seasons. In addition to her golf career, Alivia has been involved with National Honor Society, Student Council, Natural Helpers, and the school newspaper. She also teaches dance classes at her local dance studio, EDT.
Seelyhad this to say about the experience she hopes to have at Columbia, “I am very excited to take my golfing experiences beyond high school. Being so far away from home, I hope to make new friends on the team and off. I know Columbia College will be the small college experience I was looking for. I can’t wait.”
Head Coach Joshua Kiper added, “Alivia brings four years of varsity experience to our golf team and therefore will know what it takes to compete from the start. She will be a tremendous addition to our team both on the course and her character off of it, and we look forward to having her here at Columbia College.”
