Golf Tees Off at Oak Hills

COLUMBIA, S.C. - The Fighting Koalas Golf team looks to tee off their official spring season at Oak Hills on February 20th. Columbia will compete against 8 other teams in the AAC including newcomers SCAD-Atlanta.

The Fighting Koalas finished their 2012 fall season with an impressive 2nd place finish at the Reinhardt Fall Invitational. Devyn Stewart was honored on the all tournament team. The individual scores are listed below:

• Devyn Stewart: 88, 88  = 176.
• Amber Ratza: 100, 94 = 194  
• Alivia Seely: 98, 100 = 198
• Erika Christiansen: 99, 106 = 205
• Paige Campsie: 113, 124 = 237
• Breanna Spaulding: 97, 99 = 196

The ladies look forward to competing in 4 tournaments including returning to Converse College in South Carloina and visiting AAC rival Union Lady Bulldogs in Kentucky. The Fighting Koalas will conclude their inaugural season at the AAC tournament in April.
