Koalas Shoot New School Record in USC-Beaufort Golf Invitational

The Columbia College Women's Golf Team played in the USC-Beaufort Sand Shark 2015 Fall Invitational on Monday, September 28th and Tuesday, September 29th, 2015 at the Hampton Hall Country Club in Bluffton, SC.  The Koalas shot 355 in the first round on Monday and then shot a new school record in the second round on Tuesday a score of 330 beating the old school record (338) that the team set back in the spring of 2015.  For the tournament Columbia, shot 685 for a sixth place finish out of 8 teams.

3.       Queens University (Charlotte) – 315-309=624

4.       The Citadel – 322-306=628

5.       Webber International – 328-320=648

6.       Columbia College – 355-330=685

7.       USC-Beaufort "B" – 347-365=712

8.       Warner University – 382-361=743

                Amber Ratza-Sr. San Diego, CA – 85-81=166, tied for 23rd place

                Alivia Seely-Sr. Excelsior Springs, MO – 86-84=170, 26th place

                Laura Maurer-Jr.  Greenville, SC – 90-81=171, tied for 27th place

                Ashley K. Rogers-First Year, Lake View, SC – 94-84=178, tied for 33rd place

                Ashley D. Rogers-Jr. Easley, SC – 96-91=187, tied for 38th place

                Haley Wise-First Year, Jesup, GA – 94-88=182, tied for 35th place.  Haley played as individual in the tournament.

 

The Koalas next tournament will be October 11-13, 2015 at the SCAD-Atlanta/AAC Fall Conference Tournament at The Oaks Golf Course in Covington, GA.  Go Koalas!
