Columbia LAX Adds Bayuk for 2013

COLUMBIA, S.C. -  Head Lacrosse Coach, Sasha Vedock announced the addition of Eden Bayuk to the inaugural lacrosse program at Columbia College.

Eden graduated in the top 5% of her class with numerous academic awards for excellence, while at the same time completing a successful athletic career in Cross Country and Track and Field at Sun Valley High School in Monroe, NC. Some of her awards include All-County, All-Conference, and MVP in Cross Country and T&F, as well as the Marine Corps Distinguished Female Athlete Award.

Eden began her lacrosse career with Carolina Select Lacrosse program in Waxhaw, NC. Eden is a very gifted and driven athlete and hopes to bring her intense love of the game and competitive spirit to the Koala program where she will unashamedly tell you she’ll settle for nothing less than a championship.

“Eden is a hardworking, competitive, and dedicated athlete who I have big hopes for. I have no doubt she will be a strong impact on the field and off.”

Eden will be wearing #5 for the Koalas next season. Columbia College Lacrosse gears up for their first season with their pre-season beginning in September.
