Pease to Join Inaugral Lacrosse Team
COLUMBIA, S.C. - Columbia College Lacrosse adds Maddy Pease to their 2013 recruiting class. Pease is the 7th member of the inaugural Lacrosse Program at Columbia College.
Pease is originally from Seaford, VA where she has spent the past four years competing for the York High School women's lacrosse program. Head Coach Sasha Vedock commented on the signing of Pease, "I am excited to add Maddy to our new program. Not only is she a great fit for Columbia College, she will be a great leader for our program. I have high expectations for her and I can't wait for the season to begin."
Vedock should have high expectations. In 2012 Pease was named a high school All-American for lacrosse and her performance at York High. Pease couldn't be happier with her decision, "I felt very proud when I signed my letter of intent. Knowing I made my dream of becoming a student-athlete is an unbelievable feeling."
The Columbia College Lacrosse program is anticipating to start competing in early Septemeber.
