Soccer Adds Two
The Columbia College soccer team adds Donna Fox and Nancy Parra to next season's team.
The addition of Fox and Parra to next year's squad brings the total number of new players to 16 for Coach Kiper's first recruiting class. Parra and Fox will bring years of experience with them as they try to find ways to contribute on the field. Fox will graduate from nearby Brookland-Cayce High School in the top 10 percent of her class. She began playing at the age of seven.
Nancy Parra, daughter of Esteban and Olga Parra, is one of five girls in her family. She is active in her father's church and the community, volunteering with Beta Club, Kitchen Soup, and Youth Board. She was a four year varsity player for Blue Ridge High School and a team captain her final two seasons. Parra has played club soccer for ten seasons.
Coach Kiper said, "I am excited to add these young ladies to our program. They will be great representatives for us on and off the field."
