Soccer’s Great Performance not Enough

The Columbia College soccer team turned in a strong performance, but came up short against a strong Lees McRae squad.

The Koalas showed their toughness by putting together a great defensive effort against a very strong Lees McRae team Thursday afternoon.  Lees McRae came away with a 3-1 victory.  Freshmen Tiffani Folles had a strong game in goal with 10 saves, while freshmen Skylarh Thorne put in the team's lone goal by placing one over the keeper's head from 40 yards out. 

The Koalas are off until Friday, September 19 when they host Shorter College at 4:00pm.
