Koalas Victorious Over Converse

Columbia College took a 3-1 victory over nearby Converse College Tuesday afternoon at the Younts Soccer Stadium.

Converse started the game with their only goal by Aundi Hunter, 5 minutes into the first half.  Columbia responded with two goals in the first half to lead 2-1 at halftime.  The first goal came from Savanna Prosise, followed by a goal from Samantha Shwartz with 13 minutes left in the half.  Columbia quickly jumped to a 3-1 lead in the second half when Avery Ulrich netted her first goal of the season 3 minutes into the second half.

Columbia College improves to 3-6-2 on the season.  The Koalas will finish the season with 5 conference games, next hosting Lee University after fall break on October 23, at 3:00 pm at the Younts Soccer Stadium.
