Soccer Tops Warren Wilson in OT

The Columbia College soccer team overcame Warren Wilson College in the 5^th minute of overtime to capture their first victory of the season 1-0.

Freshman Susan Payne found the back of the net off the assist from Samantha Schwartz to capture the overtime win on Tuesday.  The goal was Payne's second goal of the season and the victory was the first shutout of the young season for senior goal keeper Ashley Eckler. 

With the win, Columbia College is now 1-2-1 on the season and will play next at Georgia Southwestern on Saturday, September 12 at 4:00pm.
