Cobras 2012 Home Schedule

Columbia, S.C - The Cobras are excited to announce their 2012 summer schedule. Last year Columbia College Athletics announced the collaberation between the Cobra's and The Fighting Koalas as Younts Soccer Stadium will be their home venue.

Cobras' owner, Ewell Gordon said, "The organization is very happy about this announcement. There isn't a more appropriate place to have the home of the first W-League, women's elite level soccer team than at a women's college which has such a rich sports history."

Younts Soccer Stadium was made possible for the College by Melvin and Dollie Younts.  It was completed in 2003 and renovated the summer of 2008 making its field and facilities arguably one of the best in the area.

Kelly Cox, the Athletic Director for Columbia College expressed, "It is a pleasure to be able to help support the Central SC Cobras as they represent the City of Columbia and elite women's athletics in the State of South Carolina."

The Central SC Cobras will begin league play at Younts Stadium starting in May 2012. For more information regarding the Cobras visit: www.centralsccobras.com.
