COLUMBIA, S.C. - Peyton Lee is the newest member of the Columbia College 2013 Soccer signing class out of Greensboro, NC. Peyton attends Northern Guilford High School and plays for the NC Fusion Premier Soccer club.
In high school, Peyton lettered in track and field, cross country, indoor track, and soccer. She was also a member of the Beta Club and Multi-Cultural Club, as well as being the Treasurer for the National Honor Society. She also performed in the Wind Ensemble for her school, as well as being a tutor and local volunteer.
In soccer, Peyton received the Physical Education Underclassman Award as a freshman, Scholar Athlete award as a sophomore, and was selected as an All-Conference member as a junior, while serving as captain her senior year.
At Columbia, Peyton plans to major in Biology with future plans to become an Obstetrician-Gynecologist.
Coach Kiper said about Peyton, “Peyton will bring experience of playing in high level tournaments to our team, and we feel her speed and athleticism will be huge assets for our squad.” Peyton added, “I look forward to becoming a part of the Koala soccer program and having a great college experience at Columbia College.
