Hallam notches AAC Offensive Player of the Week for consecutive weeks

Koalas Sophomore soccer player Ruby Hallam has won her second consecutive AAC Offensive Player of the Week award for the week ending 10/30.

Hallam scored a goal in each AAC contest on the week as the Koalas wrapped up the regular season of the AAC finishing third in the conference.

On Wednesday, she scored a curling free kick to give the Koalas a 1-0 advantage in their home game against St. Andrews, which Columbia ended up winning 2-1.

In the final game of the season on Saturday evening at Union, Hallam scored the game tying goal just four minutes into the second half to make it 1-1, a scoreline that ended up being the final result of the game and was good enough to earn the Koalas 3rd in the AAC.

For the season, Hallam finished tied for 1st in the conference in goals with multiple other players including Koalas senior Ashley Tanner, with two of them being game winners. Overall, she had 13 goals and 5 assists, while finishing 4th in the conference in total points.
