Koala Swimmers take 1st at Point University

In their third meet of the year, Columbia College Swim Team took first place against Conference opponent, Point University. Winning 13 out of 14 races, the Koalas finished with a lead of 151 points to 61. The koalas lost only a single race during the meet.

Coach Gallaher was pleased with the results. "This was a great meet for our team. We raced well as we continue to prepare for our mid-season meet in two weeks.  We saw a lot of positive things from each swimmer, and we have a lot to build on as we move forward.  We now have 4 relays qualified for Nationals, one additional individual automatic qualifying time and one additional B Cut form today's meet."

The Koalas swim again next week at the Brenau Invitational.
