Tennis Looks to Post-Season

COLUMBIA, S.C. - The Columbia College tennis team is gearing up for post-season play at the end of the next week. The Fighting Koalas finished .500 in AAC play and 4-6 overall on the season.

New members to the AAC, SCAD Atlanta will host the tournament at the end of the next week and other instutuions will join the AAC in order to round out the post-season tournament with 8 teams competing.

Head Coach, Mark Hancock commented on preparing his team for next week, "We are working hard as a team to be physically and mentally confident for the tournament. I'm proud of the girls."

To help prepare the team, Columbia will host a scrimmage on April 16th against Spartanburg Methodist at Godbold Tennis Courts, time is yet to be determined.
