Newberry Outlasts Columbia Tennis

NEWBERRY, S.C. - The Columbia College tennis team lost a close match to Newberry College 5-4. Freshmenn Danielle Cupid, Keneisha Whittington, and sophomore Abbagayle Stevenson won in singles. It was the first singles win for Cupid, who was added to Columbia’s roster this spring. [read more]

Megan Brown ’09 Receives Red Cross/NAIA Scholarship

COLUMBIA, S.C.: Student-athlete Megan Brown, a senior, was presented with a $2,000 scholarship recognizing her participation in the American Red Cross (ARC)/National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Youth Leadership Program and her dedication to the Red Cross mission of saving lives. In addition to completing the Youth Leadership Program, Megan has organized three successful campus blood drives. [read more]
