Volleyball Adds Four More

Head coach, Brian Solomon, announced the addition of four more players to next year's squad.  The Fighting Koalas are welcoming Ashli Bunch, Janelle Fetui, Rachel Bach, and Rachael Steiner.

Ashli Bunch, a 5'9'' middle and outside hitter, graduated from Northwood Academy in Charleston, SC.  Bunch was named to the 2007 SCISA All-State team and played for the Carolina Islander's 18-1 team.

Janelle Fetui is a 5'9'' outside hitter from Aiea, HI.  She graduated Hanalani Jr-Sr. High School where she competed in volleyball and basketball.

Rachel Bach is a 5'7''setter from Savannah, GA.  Bach graduated from St. Vincent's Academy and played for Club Savannah. 

Rachael Steiner is a 5'11'' middle hitter from Fort Mill, SC.  She graduated and played volleyball at Fort Mill High School and played for Carolina Juniors out of Charlotte, NC.

The Fighting Koalas volleyball team will welcome many new faces to the squad for the 2008-09 season.  After graduating three seniors, the Koalas welcome eight new players in all.  The Koalas are returning four starters from last year's team, but will look to get contributions from many of next year's incoming class as well as from the experienced returners.
