Volleyball Tops Brenau

For the second time this season, the Columbia College volleyball team got the best of Brenau University in an important SSAC conference match.

Before the volleyball team could officially enjoy fall break, they were tested in their last conference road game of the year.  The Koalas came out on top in 4 sets, 25-23, 25-23, 10-25, 25-22.  Freshmen Tara Prater and Aarika Munro led the offense with 17 and 14 kills respectively from the outside, along with 12 kills from sophomore middle blocker Jennifer Monroe.  Liz Richardson added a game high 40 assists.

Columbia (19-5, 5-2) will try to extend their winning streak Tuesday night when they host North Greenville University at 6:30 in the Godbold Center.
