Racic Wins Individual Heat in Race Walk Prelims at Indoor Nationals

GAINESVILLE, FL - Columbia College men's indoor track and field senior Dorde Racic as won his indiviudal heat inthe 3000m Race Walk Prelims on Thursday afternoon at the NAIA Indoor Nationals in Gainesville, Fla.

Racic's winning time in his heat was 13:36 edging out a Grand View walker by one second. He will now advance to the Race Walk finals on Friday at 11:00 am. Racic's time was the 6th best of the day.

Racic is coming off a conference tournament record win in the Race Walk two weeks ago with a winning time of 12:58 in the 3000m finals.

Conference Triple Jump Champion Mackenzie Pringle will begin her championship event on Saturday morning at 11:30 am.
