Track & Field Travels to Costa Rica for Community Service Trip
COSTA RICA - The Columbia College men's and women's track and field team used their spring break to take a community service trip down to central America and visit various elementary schools in Costa Rica.
The team met with a local non-profit organization last week in CR. They shared their mission, goals, and the impact they've made in the community. "It was truly inspiring!", said coach N'Dri.
The Koala teams, led by coaches Eric N'Dri and Cornell Sneed, traveled and worked in conjunction with the volunteer organization, Roble Alto. They also took part in a training regimen and workout with surfing instructors on the beaches of the coastal nation.
