The Class Is Here: Softball announces 2014-15 signees
We brought in a lot of quality softball players this year to boost the program in the right direction.
Not only are these ladies good players but quality students with great character.
Starting with Taylor Rawl (picture shown above), Taylor is a versatile player that catches, plays shortstop and outfield. Taylor is a first year from Lugoff Elgin High School.
Micah Tew is a junior transfer from Broward College in Florida. She is a hard throwing pitcher that will get plenty of work in the Koala battery.
Kelsey Fulton is a first year from Andrews, SC. She graduated from Williamsburg Academy and will help us both in the infield and outfield.
Brittany Hines is a first year from Hanahan High School in Hanahan, SC. She is a catcher with a strong arm as well as being versatile enough to play infield and outfield.
Madison Ryan is a first year catcher and outfielder from Stratford High School in Goose Creek, SC. Her speed will help us behind the plate and in the outfield.
Ashely Barber is first year from Chester Senior High School. She is a power hitting corner.
Jenna Kleckley is a first year from River Bluff High School in Lexington, SC. She is a lefty who plays right with speed.
Angelina "Mike" Santoro is a sophomore transfer from Myrtle Beach, SC. She is a second baseman with a great glove and speed at the plate that brings experience to the Koala roster.
Beccah Paonita is a lefty junior transfer from the Lowcountry. She will be working at first base.
Maggie Leatherman is a catcher and outfielder from Batesburg, SC. She is a first year.
Makyah Williams is a first year from Lower Richland High School in Hopkins, SC. She is utility player that brings speed and dependability to the roster.
Mary Margaret Taylor is a sophomore transfer from Mt. Pleasant, SC. Her ability to switch hit will bring speed and versatility to the lineup.
