Ten Koalas Named Daktronics Softball Scholar-Athletes

Kansas City, MO- The NAIA announced Wednesday the 2023 Daktronics NAIA Softball Scholar-Athletes. 

Per the NAIA, The 2023 list features 1,131 student-athletes that achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) at their institution. To be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, and have attended one full year at said institution.

The Koalas saw ten student-athletes make the grade:

Meghan Dennis (Junior) 

Nicole Arndt (Senior) 

Madison Hearn (Senior) 

Keeley Hulse (Senior) 

Katie Poole (Senior) 

Mary-Catherine Sanders (Senior) 

Kylie Smith (Junior) 

Dacie Smith (Grad Student) 

Ashlyn Stanley (5th Year Senior) 

Skyler Monson (Junior)
