KINGSPORT, Tenn. - The Appalachian Athletic Conference announced the 2025 WinWon Softball All-AAC Awards on Tuesday. Reinhardt (Ga.) swept the Player of the Year, Pitcher of the Year, and Coach of the Year award, but failed to win the conference tournament that Johnson University (TN) won earlier on Friday. The Koalas went 1-2 at the event while senior first baseman Aliyah Crawley was named to the All-Conference Second Team.

The awards were voted on and selected by the softball coaches of the AAC. 16 players earned a spot on the All-AAC First Team while 16 others made the second team.

Crawley hit .338 on the season with 11 doubles, 3 homers, and 31 RBI along with 28 runs scored and 4 stolen bases in 51 games. She also tied for the team-lead with 51 hits, 73 total bases and 14 walks. She had a .405 on-base % and a .483 slugging %.

The All-Academic and Champions of Character Teams honored dozens of other student-athletes including 13 from Columbia that were named either Champion of Character or to the All-Academic team.

Freshman pitcher Kailee Smith was named to the Champions of Character team as she missed the season due to injury but was a terrific student assistant for the Koalas all year long while 11 other Lady Koalas earned academic honors. They include junior pitcher/DH Ally Boyd, senior pitcher Paige Branham, sophomore outfielder Brooke Farrell, senior pitcher Kynsly Gehling, senior infielder Autumn Hamilton, junior catcher Jenna Holder, junior reliever Amanda Lohrey, sophomore catcher Taylor Perry, RS-junior reliever Bailey Strickland, sophomore infielder Addyson Tucker and senior pitcher Addison Warner.

Warner finished the 2025 season leading the Koalas in wins with 10, strikeouts with 111 and ERA at 3.61 over 133 innings (3rd in AAC). Her strikeout total also ranked 6th in the AAC and was the most strikeouts in a season by a Koala pitcher since at least the mid 2010s. She was also 6th in conference wins with eight and was 8th in the AAC in complete games with 11 while ranking fourth in shutouts with three.
