Basketball Hungry for More

COLUMBIA, S.C.-  The basketball team played Allen University this past Saturday in an exciting game, which showcased Columbia's desire to take charge and pull out a victory, defeating Allen 71-54 on the road.

The Fighting Koala's offenese was led by senior, Kiara Fefie, who had 7 points and worked the ball to her leading scorer Porcha Williams. Williams had 14 points on the night helping the rest of her team generate offense. Senior center, Emmie Bland had 11 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 blocks to end the game.

The Columbia College basektball team is 2-2 currently, one of the best starts for the program in recent years. The week ahead looks promising as the Fighting Koalas will face St. Augustine's College and future conference rival Montreat College.
