Cole Sterry is entering his first season as an assistant women’s basketball coach for the Koalas under Coach Toland for the 2026-27 season.

A native of Columbia, South Carolina, Cooper earned his Bachelor of Science in Sport and Entertainment Management from the University of South Carolina in 2023.

Sterry comes to the Koalas from Hammond HS in Columbia where he was the assistant women's basketball coach since 2021. He also served as the Head JV Coach in 2025-26 as well as a substitute teacher.

He has also been the ehad coach of two AAU basketball programs in 2025 and 2026 (Palmetto Sixers and Palmetto Pressure) while has been an assistant AAU coach since 2022.

He is also currebntly working as a Basketball Trainer for Hoops and Life since 2024 and worked for Iconic Sport Performance from 2023-2024 as an assistant trainer.
