Koalas Indoor Track & Field Open Season at Bast-Cregger Invitational

Roanoke, Va. —The Columbia College (SC) women's indoor track and field team will begin defense of its AAC Title, this weekend when they compete in the in the 5th Bast-Cregger Invitational.  The meet is set for Friday-Saturday, Dec. 3-4 in the Kerr-Cregger Fieldhouse on the campus of Roanoke College.

Field events begin with the Women's Pentathlon at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 3, followed by running events at 5 p.m.

On Saturday (Dec.4), the men's Heptathlon will begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by the running events and the remainder of the field events at 11 a.m.

In addition to Columbia College, schools scheduled to compete include Concord University, Eastern Mennonite University, Erskine College, Guilford College, Hollins College, Lenoir-Rhyne University, Lincoln Memorial University, Mars Hill University, Mary Baldwin University, Mount Olive University, North Greenville University, Patrick Henry CC, Queens University of Charlotte, University of Lynchburg, Radford University, Randolph College, Shenandoah University, Southern Virginia University, and Washington and Lee University.

After the opening meet, the team will take a break for the Holiday and return to action the weekend of January 14-15, when they participate in the Gamecock Open hosted by the University of South Carolina.
