NAIA Releases Qualifiers for Outdoor Track & Field Nationals; Columbia Qualifies Six
Qualifiers for the 2025 Men's & Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championships Announced
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The official final qualifiers and entry lists for next week's Men's & Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Marion, Indiana have been announced.
Qualifying for the Koala men is senior Dorde Racic as he made Nationals in the 5000 meter Race Walk and heads into the event seeded 6th with a time of 22:10. Racic is the AAC Racewalk Indoor and Outdoor Champion and already an Indoor All-American. Racic's racewalk event begins next Thursday, May 22 at 5:15 pm.
Qualifying on the women's side were 2x All-American sophomore Mackenzie Pringle in the Triple Jump and 100m Hurdles as well as sophomore Makayla Blango in the Triple Jump as well. Also qualifying as a team is the 4x100m AAC-winning relay team consisting of Pringle, Blango, and sophomores Ashante Shaw, Latrice Brown, and Mykayla Howard. The relay team is seeded 26th with a time of 47.45 seconds. The relay finals are set to take place next Friday, May 23 at approximately 1:30 pm.
Pringle is seeded 18th in the 100 Hurdles in 14.1 seconds while she is seeded 17th in the Triple Jump at 11.85 meters. Blango is seeded 22nd in the TJ at 11.72 meters. Next Thursday, May 22 is the Triple Jump finals which are set to take place at 5:30 pm.
The championship meet gets underway Wednesday, May 21 with the women's 4x100 relay semifinal at 3:00 pm while the 100 Hurdles begin at 2:00 pm next Thursday with the Hurdle finals on Friday at 2:20 pm.
