Koala Men Roll Past RMC 7-0
ASHLAND, Va. – The Columbia College Men's Tennis team traveled up to central Virginia on Wednesday and went on to roll past Div. III foe Randolph-Macon College (Va.) 7-0 to pick up their 6th win.
Columbia improves to 6-5 on the season and will next go back on the road on Monday to face Pikeville in Kentucky at 1:00 pm.
CC swept the doubles matches with senior Waldo Bosch and freshman Noah Snipes dominating at the top spot 6-1 while frehsman Len Spanier and sophomore Gabe Kian won 6-3 at the second spot. Finally, senior Owen Brumfield and sophomore Thomas Remely then clinched the sweep with a third line 6-4 win.

#2 Len Spanier and Gabriel Kian def. (RMC) Chapman and Zano, 6-3.
#3 Thomas Remely and Owen Brumfield def. (RMC) Alexander and Wadsworth, 6-4.
In singles, Columbia was led by Snipes at the third spot recording a two-set shutout while the freshmen duo of Spanier and Paas each only conceded one game apiece in their wins at the 2nd and fifth spots. Bosch then rolled 6-1, 6-1 at the top line while Gabriel Kian and junior Michael Schiesz also easily rolled to straight set wins at the 4 and 6 spots as well.
